When should you use your motorcycle's engine cut-out switch?
Only use the engine cut-out switch in an emergency. When stopping the engine normally, use the ignition switch. This will remind you to take your keys with you when parking. It could also prevent starting problems if you forget you’ve left the cut-out switch in the ‘off’ position.
